Speaker 1:

Welcome to episode three, where we're talking angels, signs, healing, and connection. My guest today is Jeanette Stuart. Jeanette is an angelic practitioner, self-care strategist, and an emissary of joy at angel angles. She's also a pancreatic survivor, a number one best-selling author. Well, actually, she's done 11 or more book collaborations. She's also put out a four-volume devotional series on a path of joy and drenched in love. She's a speaker and someone who brings so much light and wisdom to the world. Her work is inspired by faith, by nature, and by a deep connection to the healing presence of angels. I'm so honored to have her here today and so excited for you to hear Jeanette's stories. Hi, Jeanette. Hi, Kim. Thanks for having me today. I'm so excited you're here. Where do you think we should start? Should we start kind of taking us back to the beginning and how your journey with the angels first unfolded?

Speaker:

Yeah, that would be great. So my brother, we were very close, and he started a very rapid physical decline in 2012. And we were only a year apart, and I was always his protector throughout our lives. In fact, the first few years of his life, I spoke for him until I was gone one time, and then he had to tell my mom what he wanted. And then after that, it was all systems go for him. But he had a brain tumor, and he had a very quick and devastating physical decline. And it was really hard for me to watch that happen, to watch it happen to my parents, their only son. And I had grown up in the church and I knew about angels, but I thought it was more like a historic thing. I didn't think that I, little old Jeanette, could work with the angels. Like, why would they spend their time with me? You know, I thought you had to be a saint or someone like Mother Teresa that did all this big work in the world. And I found a woman on Facebook when Facebook was just words, and her affirmations of angelic love made all the difference for me. That was such a healing balm for me. She had put out a post about creating an affirmation, and I asked for a healing affirmation, and she sent me one, and that put me on the trajectory of paying attention to the angels, feeling their presence. I feel like my brother on the other side is one of my angelic teams. You know, Kim and you and I have talked about angels so much over the years that it, you know, paying attention. So like looking for the signs. If you're asking for signs and you see signs, to know that, oh, okay, that is what I asked for. You know, it might come in a different form or a different timing than what you had asked for, but it's really important to pay attention to those signs, and there's so many different kinds. So when my brother passed, I had my first angel session with Laurel, the the woman I spoke about. And I didn't know if it would make me lose my faith, if I would start seeing dead people. I didn't know what was gonna happen. But it was such a love fest that within six months of having my first angel session, I was learning how to do angel card readings for others. And so that was 13 years ago. And I feel like my brother is one of my biggest cheerleaders now from the other side.

Speaker 1:

Oh, there's so much to kind of unpack from all of that, Jeanette. And I know you and I have definitely spoken about your brother and kind of how, you know, during grieving process or even unwavering, faith wavering, maybe, you were able to really be guided to looking into the angels. And I know many of us that are and that are listening today probably are exposed to at least the term angels through religion, like through church or scripture, or maybe some sacred rituals. And I'm just wondering like, was there ever a moment that made you stop and say, like, is this real? And or what did your family and friends say once you were kind of doing the work with the angels alongside of you?

Speaker:

Yeah, that's really, you know, coming out of the spiritual closet, so to speak. I about this same time, I was contemplating retiring, and I knew I wanted to do the work of my soul, but I wasn't sure what that was gonna look like. And for the first year that I had my business, I was afraid to put my name out there. I really didn't want to be associated, like one of those weird people that talks to angels, right? You know, what would my friends think? What would my family think? What would my son think? And everybody was very loving and kind. And people tell me, well, you've always been an angel, you know, like your whole life, you know, but I didn't think of myself as that. So I was open to the possibility, and it was scary to put my name on my blogs and on my posts, but I just leaned into faith where the angels were guiding me to be more transparent and to be the genetist Jeanette I could be. And that felt really good, but it felt really scary. So I did it in baby steps, and it's so helpful because people can see the real me, and I don't have to hide.

Speaker 1:

And I do have to echo the same sentiments. You really are someone that shines a bright light and brings love to every aspect of your life and also those that know you. And I would say you're a little cherub, if not an angel in real life. So I think they're straight on with that. I know, I know that you mentioned a little bit about signs, and while we're on the subject of angels and signs, I just want everyone to know that in one of Jeanette's devotional books, it's actually, I think, the cover of volume three on a path of joy, there is the most amazing photo of an angel. And I also uh was so fortunate to have Jeanette uh submit that for us to use for my See the Signs book. And that's on page 78. And I'll link all the information in the show notes for everyone to be able to check that out. But Jeanette, before we go on, do you want to share with us kind of what transpired the day this photo was taken and maybe kind of describe it so that people can really understand what angelic sign came through to you and your family that day?

Speaker:

I I'd love to share about that. That's one of my favorite photos. So we were on a family trip to Bouchard Gardens celebrating my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary, and I was with my parents and my aunt and uncle and some cousins, and we were at Bouchard Gardens, and there was a fountain, and it was spraying up the water, and it was so pretty. We were there in spring, and so I was trying to frame the picture with the tulips and the bulbs with the fountain in the background, and so it started, and I'm like thinking, wow, it looks like an angel in the fountain. And my aunt, whose 50th anniversary we were celebrating, said, Oh, it looks like an angel. And so that was kind of confirmation that, oh, it looks like an angel to someone else, not just me. And when I took the picture, it turned out really great. You know, sometimes pictures just don't turn out the way you hope they will. And this one was great. Like Kim said, I put it on the cover of my third book, and it's on page 78 of the See the Signs book by Kim. And it has been just wonderful to uh see that picture, to think about the love and support that I have received over the years, and you know, to have that special family trip of a beautiful time together, celebrating love, and that the angels were there with us. So that was really fun, you know, and paying attention to what brings us joy and what lights us up, you know, and and to celebrate those, because you could dismiss it and say, oh, well, you know, it was just the way the wind was blowing and blah blah blah. But you know, to take the time to celebrate those signs when you know it's a sign from the angels, you know, and to receive it in faith and adoration and devotion.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there is absolutely no doubt that's not an angel in the water there. I mean, the wings are just perfect, like it still brings goosebumps to me when I think about it because it's just remarkable. And oftentimes we're looking for signs and we don't see them, but being so open and realizing that there is a sign right in front of you that was unexpected and really admiring that and soaking it up and actually sharing it with the world, really, is what really helps us to continue to create that belief really and affirm that connection. So I just love that. Has there been any other signs that you've received that were kind of unexpected like that, Jeanette?

Speaker:

Oh my goodness. Going back to my brother, he loved Carol King. And he went to about 10 different shows across the country in different venues. And the year after he passed away, she did a musical called Beautiful. And that was my brother's last word. Two weeks before he passed away, he was in hospice care at my parents' home, and my mom was showing him a poinsetta that she had got, and he he was really unable to speak, but we heard beautiful come from his lips. That was the last word we ever heard, and he passed away two weeks later. So that beautiful came out the next year after he passed away, and that my sister and I were able to go to a special screening in San Francisco and see like behind the scenes in the blue room. And we just felt like our brother was there, you know. And every song that Carol King sang, we knew, we were bopping in our seats, and then the next month we took our parents to see it, and they they knew a lot of the songs too, and that it was so special to my brother, it was just a real love fest for all of us. And just thinking about that, you know, that that was his last word, and at his celebration of life, I was the first one to speak, and I said, Today is a beautiful day. That was Rob's last word, and he would, you know, want us to celebrate him and the impact that he had in the world, and so it just felt like it came full circle, Kim. You know, it was one of those things, and there's just so many different uh ways that uh signs come to us, signs of love from above, I like to call it. Uh, you know, it could be through uh the written word, it could be through music, it could be from a memory, it could be a conversation that you have with someone. Yeah, there's just so many opportunities for the angels to say, Hey, I love you, I'm sending you this. In fact, I'll tell you this story that happened a couple of weeks ago. I was at a baby shower, a family baby shower, and it involved driving two hours that day. And I was with my aunt, uncle, I mean, my aunt and my mom and dad, they're in their late 80s. So it was a lot of you know, caring for them that day and making sure everybody was comfortable and all that. So after I went to the store, I was tired, and uh a woman came up and looked at me, and then she worked there, and I thought, oh, she, you know, needs like where I am. So I moved my cart, and then a little bit later she came up to me and she did one of these things like you, that whole look you have going on there, that looks like something my mom would wear. And the way she said it, I knew her mom had recently passed away. And and I asked her, Do you want a hug? And I've never seen her before in my life. So she said yes. So I gave her a big hug and I said, 'You know, your mom is sending you love. And she I said, 'thank you for saying something.' You know, so I felt like I was a conduit of love for her, for her mom, because she had missed her mom. And, you know, she was brave to approach me and you know, say about that. But I feel like that was a miracle in the aisles of Trader Joe's, you know.

Speaker 1:

And we all love some Trader Joes, right?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

I think in the last episode, Brie, my daughter was also talking about how you can be a sign for someone else, right? Or that the messages can come through you for someone. And there's no doubt, like your work with the angels and the divine timing of that, along with her bravery. Oh, that just takes my breath away. It's so powerful when you sit and think about that, Jeanette, that you were there at the right time, at the right place, wearing the right thing for her to get drenched in love from you, from her mom, from the angels, right?

Speaker:

Exactly. And I was with my parents yesterday and I told my mom that story. And she's like, wow, you know, and I said, I was tired, you know, I was probably hungry, grumpy, but after that, it just filled my heart, you know, and that I got to tell my mom, I got to tell you and your listeners today. So it's just, you know, cool to watch for the signs, like you say in your book, to, you know, there's just so many different ways that we can be a conduit of love and also receive that divine love.

Speaker 1:

So I'm just gonna like go back a moment because I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, Jeanette. But when you were speaking about your brother just a little bit ago, and you were talking about beautiful and how you were talking about Carol King and beautiful, and then you said his last word was beautiful. I don't know if you saw it come across the screen, but there was a white orb that just came right over between those angel wings that are hanging on your wall and that. So Jeanette was sharing her beautiful story with us, and there was this gorgeous white orb perfectly that just came right through across right behind Jeanette's shoulder and head as she was describing her brother. So I'm sure your brother is here with us today as well. So if I can brother, if I can get a screenshot of that later, I will send that over to you.

Speaker:

Oh, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. And I know that sometimes when we're losing the people that are closest to us, it really opens us up to a kind of our soul work. And I'm sorry your family kind of had to go through some of those challenges, but I know you've also walked through some pretty profound challenges, including your battle with pancreatic cancer. Are you comfortable maybe sharing how the angels' signs, prayers, intuition, any of those things kind of help carry you through that season of life?

Speaker:

Oh boy. Yes, early on in my journey, the angels let me know that I was gonna be okay, that cancer would be with me for a season and her lessons would last a lifetime. And so when I was diagnosed in 2019 with pancreatic cancer, there was a 8% survival rate for five years. So that is really dismal. So that means that 92% of the people are not gonna see five years. And I held that uh message in my heart, knowing that even though I was weak, uh sick, losing my hair, all of those things that I knew that I would be okay because the angels let me know. And so I love to share my story of hope for others. Now the survival rate is 13%, but it that's still dismally low. When I got the diagnosis, I had only heard of one other person that had pancreatic cancer, and it was a local dentist, and he died within a week of knowing. So when I got the news, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if I was going to see our son again. I didn't know if I'd live to my next birthday, and thank God and the angels that I'm thriving six years after the fact that I was able to have the life-giving surgery. And a year after my diagnosis, my best friend since kindergarten was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and she did not have the same outcome. She passed away in 2023. So, you know, I felt like I kind of went first to have the experience to kind of help her along with her journey as well. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

To be able to be an angel here on earth, helping others through their journeys, right? Whether it's health or love or maybe creating that belief in angels and signs and showing up, right? And with what you just shared, I know it's gonna really stay with people. And I appreciate your vulnerability because you displayed, at least to me and from what I could tell, this inner sense of knowing that was so solid, even when you were having some bad days or bad nights, whatever. If you could distill something that would be a takeaway to people around that experience, is there one thing, Jeanette, that you could share?

Speaker:

I would say there's always hope. And hope can look different at different times in your journey. I was talking to my friend's sister, the one that was so ill with pancreatic cancer, and we we talked about hope. And I said, you know, that you can hope, you know, that they'll have a miraculous uh healing, a a miracle in in that regard. But you can also hope that they know how much you love them. That that hope I hope I can do things to make their journey easier. I hope that I can help their loved ones. You know, there's just so many different ways that we can experience hope. It's it's not just the spontaneous miracle of healing, but it's also, you know, I I hope that I can be as strong as them. You know, kind of those those kind of different ways to look at hope. So I I just want others to know that there's always hope.

Speaker 1:

Yes, hope is a must. So everybody take note of that about Jeanette's wisdom around hope. And I was just kind of quickly calculating that you've probably had like around 20 other seasons of life that you have gone through since that experience. And that's a lot of seasons to be able to help individuals, right? And for you to continue to celebrate life itself. Was there a role that mindset played in any of your healing, Jeanette?

Speaker:

Oh boy, one of my favorites is selecting a word of the year. And I've been selecting a word of the year since 2016. And the word that I chose for 2019, I I received my pancreatic cancer diagnosis four days into that year, and my word was flourish. So I was focused on every day, how can I flourish? And so sometimes that was taking an anti-nausea pill, sometimes it was taking a nap, sometimes it was calling a loved one. I was having chemo, and so on a 14-day cycle, I would feel lousy for 12 days, but I also knew that brighter days were ahead because the angels told me. So I knew it was a season, like you said. Yeah, I don't know if that answered.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it sounds like it sounds like you're really just every day, and maybe it was even hour to hour or moment to moment. Being in healthcare, I know that sometimes when illness creeps in, it's hard to even look past like a few minutes to kind of get through that nausea, that pain, that tiredness, things like that. But you chose to choose one item to focus on and you knew you were on it gonna flourish. And my guess is your mindset kept bringing you back to the fact that you received the message from the angels that this was gonna be a season and you were gonna be okay. And you kind of had that affirmation to continue on and to keep digging in deep within your soul to get through everything. Now, I think you do have a word of a year event I noticed on your website that comes up. Will you be doing that again for 2026?

Speaker:

Yes, that I believe is scheduled for December 29th. And I can give you the link for your show notes about that, and that's a free event for people. And so it's one of my favorite. I've been doing it consistently since 2016 of selecting the word of the year. And this year, my word is savor. So every day I'm looking for things to savor, and it could be, you know, something that I've seen, something that I've eaten, drank, experienced. And I knew early on that I would select savor for this year. And I'm not sure what's gonna come up for 2026, but it's gonna be good. And it's it's one of those mindset habits that I'm gonna continue for the rest of my life because it is so powerful and wonderful.

Speaker 1:

I think when we can really focus in on something like that and harness, you know, the frequency, the vibration of the word and kind of live it for 365 days, you'll get so entrenched in the goodness of it that you can kind of get through anything, right? You can use it in celebratory phases, you can use it when you're having some downs in life, but ultimately it gives us a tool to kind of grasp onto in time of need. And I think that's kind of something that signs do too in your work with the angels, is that, you know, whether it's gratitude or grief, we have something that we can experience that's right here, doesn't cost us anything as long as we keep our eyes and our minds open to receiving them. And you mentioned there's so many forms that signs come to us in. And uh that's what I love doing this podcast because we get to hear what signs people receive and how they receive them, and makes people to think about have I received a sign that I didn't realize it in hindsight, and kind of start looking going forward. I think, Jeanette, that one of the things I want to kind of bring home as we're kind of wrapping up today is what are you intentionally curating connection with right now?

Speaker:

I am living my life with no regrets. So I'm spending time with people that I love and adore and reaching out to others. So connection is really important to me. Also doing my soul work because that jazzes me up, you know, that fills my cup. And so the more that I can do that, the less I'm paying attention to what's going on in the world, you know, I'm I'm like laser focused on what I can savor in my life today, you know, and and paying attention to that. I'm not looking at, you know, I used to walk around my neighborhood, why don't they mow their lawn? Why don't they take care of this? You know, why don't they paint their house? And like I'm so far from that mindset now, because of the baby steps of of the mindset. And I think that's so important, you know, the the paying attention. And also the when you ask for a sign to to openly receive it, that it might come at a different time or a different way than you think it's gonna happen. I had a client that asked for feathers, and her grandmother had recently passed away, and uh so she saw a whole bunch of feathers. At once, and her husband dismissed it and said, Oh, that's just a dead bird, you know. But she had asked for uh signs and she received them, but she dismissed them because of someone else's uh analysis of of that, you know, and we just need to be uh open and aware of oh okay, it could look different. You know, maybe it's if you ask for a feather, maybe somebody has a tattoo of a feather that you see, or it's on a shirt, or you know, it's on their license plates around. A lot of people see numbers and letters and things that remind them, oh, that's that's the angels.

Speaker 1:

Well, I just love that. So, really, you know, that intuition that if you think that's a sign, it's likely a sign you're feeling it, and that you have the faith that you're going to receive that sign. And there can be a lot of noise and distraction around us in the world, whether it's from loved ones or social media or just being out and about on a daily basis. That's where I think coming back to center, right? Staying grounded and being true to what you're here to do and what your messages are and what you believe in to help interpret all of the love that is surrounding us, right? I am just so thankful that you've shared so many personal truths with us today. I'm really grateful for that. And I think if someone listening is going through their own hard season, I think this is a really good podcast episode to kind of save and re-listen to Jeanette's inspiration that she shared with us today. Jeanette, is there anything else that you would like to share with the listeners before we wrap up?

Speaker:

I'd just like to remind everybody that there's always hope. It could look differently than you expect, and that there's always signs that your loved ones, the angels, friends from the other side are always thinking they're they're just a breath away.

Speaker 1:

So all right, listeners, you heard that they are just a breath away. Please, if you have had any experiences with angels and signs, feel free to reach out to Jeanette or I. We both love hearing the remarkable impact that they make in your lives. Jeanette's information will be in the show notes. And until next time, science seekers, keep the hope.

Speaker:

Awesome.
